Nitto is one of the product that made in Toyo Factory in Japan.
But price a bit higher, and tread design very unique, mainly for performance.

You will regret if u buy RE002, price expensive, noisy and poor wet performance, only good in dry condition, and the worse thing is - U buy with Japan product, pay Japan price, but tyre made from Indo/Thai.

I rather buy either
a) Michelin PS3 - Silent, good wet performance and dry condition, price acceptable because MICHELIN.
b) Toyo T1Sport - Silent, good wet and dry performance, and made from Japan with reasonable price.
Poor wet performance? First time I heard that. Care to elaborate more?

If not mistaken they are rated Traction A only. More over as mentioned not too many grooves for water channeling....

I use RE001 and RE002 before.
Nothing to talk about RE001 because product phase out.
RE002 when new wont notice anything during raining day at highway. But after worn 20~30% u driving like snake on highway during raining time, and speed only 70~80kmh.
Re001 no such problem until worn 50%.

That definitely sounds scary. I wonder how long will I be able to use them. :smokin:

Learn to drift....hahhahahha

But as far as you are using NA non mod I think you will still be okay.
My VR before mod was 2.0 auto on Kumho RE-711 205/50R16. In wet or dry no issues, but after transplant VR in, it really move like snake in the wet. In the dry still okay but cannot simply step on it...

car weight also must consider in tyre choosing i think..
my car using re002 wet road can go 120kmj with no snaking problem..
but have to be extra careful on lopak air..maybe my tyre not so wide so better aquaplanning..maybe also..

That's one thing I like about kelisa for having smaller width tyres. Better aquaplanning xD

yes both 205.. re002 at mivec..
but no snaking for me on my re002..that why i said maybe my car weight also effect tyre performance..
downforce i think not..cos my car dont have any wing or skirt whatever..just plain old wira..

but differ in wifey neo..205 using deestone in front..really heavy rim..can go all the way to 140kmj during rain with no problem..but balls already keep in peti besi already..hahaha..
