Need advise about my mirage turbo setup..

My 61t setup now....

TD04HL turbine
VR4 intercooler
2WD Mirage Turbo Gearbox
Evo Cam
Evo stock clutch and pressure cover (got it from evo halfcut)
1.5mm metal gasket
Adjustable campulley
Double diaphram fuel regulator
bosch ext fuel pump
SAFC2
Electronic boost controller
Stock 61t piston, wiring, ecu, airflow and 390cc injector...


regularly boosting at 1.0 bar and sometimes 1.2....i dont plan to change the stock piston but
i want to know if changing to vr4 ecu and airflow can add power or not to my machine, is it plug n play to 61t wiring....injector must upgrade or not?:confused:

if u r using vr4 ecu , then its a must to change the injectors too unless u have piggyback
 
u can remain ur stock piston..
just change ur ecu,air flow,injector n turbine (PNP item)...and tune back ur safc...
confirm u can feel the "different" even though it's a minor upgrade...good luck! :biggrin:
 
side by side with evos at 300m?
Not really..
coz evo got so many advantage such as gearbox,stroke n etc...
BUT..sometime on 300M...unexpected car can win easily because of his driving skill..hahaha...
 
i still vote that g61t on 300m..can change the ecu witout the injector but maybe yr FC teruk lar haha...like jinkl said....better change the ecu and injector with air flow...wow...u get extra hp there bro heheh..so still side by side with evo on 300m?hahaha

evo win la bro...mine 1.6 only...very slow ma...vtec 1.6 oso can tapau...hahaha:biggrin:...still not answer my question...vr4 airflow and ecu can plug n play wit 61t wiring or not?

alahh..u need a good setup lar bro...i got friend using g61t also...side by side 300m hahah my gsr also kalah lorr klu mcm tu...but that time using evo3 turbine and IC larr...need good traction...somemore yr gbox shorter ratio ma...hahah btw...need sifu too explain can fix or not...

airflow socket plug n play..same got 7wires...
ecu also same socket...


but mine 4g61 BOT using wiring,ecu,airflow,injector,throttle body from evo...
fuel comsumption very save... hehehhehe...

wana boost higher?get a bigger injector get the evo yellow 510cc injector,vr4 ecu plug n play,airflow plug n play,that's about it..simple..seems like u have all the supporting mods fuel pump,fuel regulator, etc...just get the injector ecu n airflow n get it tuned..simple n nice recipe..last time me using 61 also..hehe
 
KASI TUKAR INJECTOR pakai+510cc
comp box change to vr4.....
airflow sensor change to 609...evo123
cam change to evo 3 cam
turbo change to 47 code
g/b pakai mirage punya with lsd la kalau dpt...
fule pump walbro
setting safc cun2 punya
set boost 1.5 bar je tengok kete bro boleh kuar ke tak huhu...
turbo pusing bawah...setup ni dah hensem kalau budak 2.0l ajak main try la dulu 350m.......tengok amacam....tp make sure la bro pakai metalgasket dulu...baru boleh main boost...setting safc kena cun la baru kete bro meluncur hensem di jalan raya huhuhuhuh peace 4g61....in memory:biggrin:
 
so many recipe to built up my mirage to monster..haha,,,but 4 now..vr4 ecu, airflow and injector cukup la...boleh acah machine 2 liter pun jd la....:biggrin:
 
no need injector la bro. last time when i was using vr4 airflow n ecu on my mirage, didnt change injector. when u change to evo airflow only need to change injector...

if ur engine is mirage cyclone, use vr4 8618 ecu. if urs is eci multi, use 5808 vr4 ecu. last time i tried using 5808 ecu on my cyclone engine, the rpm meter didnt work. something to do with the tach interface...

trust me on this. vr4 ecu+airflow 2 items only can guarantee power increase that u can really feel! dont forget vr4 throttle body too!

i used mirage cyclone...how bout airflow...?? all vr4 model airflow are same or not???
 
if can, get matching items, whereby the ecu n airflow come from same model. yes got difference. vr4 eci multi airflow different from vr4 cyclone...

4g61 stroke 75mm
4g67 stroke either 87 or 88mm(forgot)
can ar?
using 4g61 blok crank 4g67, piston will 'terkeluar" from blok...
coz 4g61 blok shorter than 4g67.. correct me if wrong..
