Can make more earnings from service....lol

Not going to be pocket friendly to future owners. I have some friends from the same age with me who doesn't really know about a car's basic maintenance cost despite paying installments for their own car.

For example, a friend of mine said it is about time to change tyres for his Saga FLX. So, I told him for that size (185/60/14), it is probably around RM140-RM170. He asks me back, is it the price for all four tyres? :banghead:

There is also another friend who is using FLX who asked me about tyres. He told me that he want to change tyres, any recommendations? So I told him a few, including the cheap Viking City Tech that I am using.

At the end, he told me all of those tyres are over his budget and he asks if there is any tyres that costs under RM100 a piece? He ask me is China branded tyres good? I told him not really. At the end, he told me he will get it because his uncle recommended it. Then what is the point of asking me? :hmmmm:

I ask him what is he using now. He said Falken, cheap brand. Falken is not so bad what... I told him I'm not even sure about the quality of China tyres, he can take the risk if he want. I said, if it is just for low speed city drive, then probably it should be okay.

Falken got cheap and got expensive also. From their entry level Sincera range to Ziex Mid range to Azenis Top Range of UHP, Max and Track tyres....

That is why I mentioned that Falken is not so bad like what my friend thinks. It is quite a big brand on the industry.

Since your friends don't know anything on tyres just China mari can loh......hhahahahaha

I'm already cursing my own set of Goodyear Duraplus. Air pressure dropping quite fast. The Vikings at rear fares much better in keeping air pressure. Can't imagine China mari tyres...

Oh! some are gaining or coming up. Like Landsail makes tyres for aviation. Yup, for planes.

One of their tyres even made the grade in one tyre test....

I guess among so many random China brands, there are bound to have one or two who manage to make it big. Just like in electronics industry like computer and phones.
