Cannot, once turbo already the brakes and suspension cannot take it......Just use stock + handbrakes
Can...dun drive gila-ly first and also dont get JPJ approval first - at your own risk lolCannot, once turbo already the brakes and suspension cannot take it......
BOT no need JPJ mah!Can...dun drive gila-ly first and also dont get JPJ approval first - at your own risk lol

set the boost very low ...
In the mid 80s, those 1.5ltr turbos already reach around 1200HP in qualifying trim! In race they tuned it down to around 800HP for reliability. Then in 1989 they switch to 3.5ltr with max 12 cyl, producing around 650HP at the start but soon able to reach 800HP. Then they reduce again to 3.0ltr in 1995, and finally 2.4ltr V8 in 2006. Now they're considering going back to turbo 1.6ltr.As far as I know, the cars were going too fast. If not mistaken was 1.5 twin turbos churning 800bhp, then switch to 3.0 NA V10. Heard they could get only 500 at the start and as time went on more and more until they met up with the power of the 1.5 twin turbos, then they switch to V8 2.4 NA. They actually wanted to slow them down, too fast and dangerous. At one time even add block underneath the car to break their aero dynamics. Yup, the could be going back to turbos....
Senna raced in F1 from 84 to 94, so he used 1.5ltr turbos (Renault & Honda), 3.5ltr V10 (Honda & Renault), & 3.5ltr V12 (Honda). Shoemaker started in 91 using 3.5ltr V8 (Ford), then 3.0ltr V10 (Ferrari), and 2.4ltr V8 (Ferrari & Merc). If I were not mistaken, the car driven by Senna was turbocharged. Then at Schumachers era, it is 2.6L V10 then boasted up to 3.0L V10. I remember Schumi said that it is much more faster Then to save cost, the lowered down the capacity to 2.4L V8. Ironically, the car doesnt slow down very much as technology has improved (kers, drs, double diffusers, etc). The sport has become more interesting that ever, especially this season of 2012.
There will be electric F1 soon ! Could it be a beginning of a new mod? NA + Electrified Car (not the usual hybrid, but with an additional electrical boost). We have seen many performance hybrid car, but none are modified into one. Proton Wirelectrilutioned
Where? Astro never broadcast live, only sometimes recorded. Unless you watch in youtube in Japanese. :)I only watch SuperGT
Do correctly mah.....BOT risk engine getting explode only...
Correction, NO TRACTION CONTROL at that time! The only traction control was the foot!Imagine driving a 1000hp turbo beast at speeds above 250m/h with crazy lag on 80's tires and relatively ancient traction control.....and it's pouring.
And this one guy was lapping everyone else, even the former champion. That's how awesome Senna was. If any of you have the time, go and find the movie "Senna", released in 2010. I highly recommend it.
No, not yet in 85. Lotus actually started active suspension around 87, but that's not traction control but more like self leveling suspension which took its' best form in Williams Renault 92-93 cars. Traction control itself started in early 90s (maybe in 92, cannot remember exactly), but then by 94 got banned (but Shoemaker's Benetton found a way to cheat it).I knew the Mclaren didn't have any, but I think the Renault Williams had some sort of traction control and a trick suspension. Wasn't the car he famously drove in the wet though so you're right.
Had a tear in my eye after i was done with the movie..haha
As usual we always side track a bit.....No, not yet in 85. Well I didn't have any tears but I was amazed by the movie despite already knowing and watching the guy way back then. I did feel quite sad when he died in 94, then I did not follow F1 afterwards for almost 2 years.
Wah we're really OOT already bro! :)
That is why Traction Control is important for off-trackers like us LOLAs usual we always side track a bit.....
Faster get back on track.......That is why Traction Control is important for off-trackers like us LOL
Than I start to like Twin-Charge now...Yup, as per bro Zul diagram. This way works at low and high revs, that is why their torque is so good.....
Do you know there is a video that made to remember Senna and the Honda NSX?As usual we always side track a bit.....
NA or turbo, now change to twin charge......Than I start to like Twin-Charge now...
