Guys, wanna ask ar......the brake calipers, if taken out, and there's some brake oil on the caliper......should i wash it off ? Or can leave it like that ?

I heard ppl said brake oils can ruin the paint of the calipers.....

Any comments ?

yes, brake oil chemical property can eat up the paint....that why i always clean up everything that i bought from hafkat that has marking using the brake oil!

On the other note, since the RON 97 petrol went up, do you guys still pouring RON 97 or already change diet to less fat RON 95???

If use RON 95, any problems or shortcomings to the engine/mechanical parts? How's the engine response?

I dunno y...my car doesn't like RON95......knocking happens and the car shakes.....tried it once only....then all the while...it's ron97 ~

Some people said, we can adjust the timing ignition to make it more "tolerable" to RON 95...
I'm not sure whether it is really work.

Actually, I dont mind loose a little bit of power by retarding the ignition, but I'm just afraid if by doing so, it would incurred other engine problem in the long term.:hmmmm:
