Team FXPrimus Aylezo was prepped and more than ready to lock horns with the other bulls down the circuit, but unfortunately that would have to wait as a pile up from the VW Scirocco-R China Series caused a bit of a delay for Race 1. After the circuit was cleaned of the debris from the damaged Sciroccos an hour later, the team is back in business.
Starting off from 5th on the grid, Dilantha Malagamuwa led the charge for team FXPrimus Aylezo in Korea. After mastering the circuit in both the practice and qualifying sessions, Dilantha blasted through the 4,207 m circuit in the lightweight Gallardo, but unfortunately things did not go the way they wanted it to be.
The car somehow was caught with an issue where the drivers were not able to push it to the limit, restricting the ability of the 570-horsepower race car. So even when Dilantha passed the car to Zen, it was not on 100-percent attack mode. And as a result of the technical difficulty, they were that close in securing the podium spot by finishing in fourth.
But having finished the race is far better than having to pull out from the race halfway, which is why they are looking into improving their position on Race 2 taking place the next day.
