After spending the night setting up the 570-horsepower race car, team FXPrimus Aylezo is now ready to show their worth on Round 3’s final race. Having gone through the strategies and finalizing the preparation, Dilantha went on as the first driver from the 7th position on the grid.
With the top spots in their sights, Dilantha wasted no time to push the car to its fullest potential, swooping across the traffic of fast-moving Gallardos. He even managed to gain positions as early as the third lap but unfortunately the car spun on the 7th lap. Team FXPrimus Aylezo lost three spots from the mishap, but keen to redeem himself, Dilantha brought the car to a respectable 4th position by lap 12.
As the race approaches its midpoint, Dilantha brought the car into the pits for a driver change. Keen to improve the team’s position, Zen jumped into the car but was unable to re-join the race in an instance. Some minor issue developed during the pit stop, causing the team an extra and very valuable 12 seconds.
By the time the car was back in the circuit, there was just too little time for them to catch up and had to settle with a 5th for Race 2. The 3rd round in Korea was definitely an interesting round that gave them a lot of insights on how to improve for the next rounds. Team FXPrimus Aylezo will be back for more on Round 4, taking place at the prestigious Fuji Speedway this coming September 20th – 22nd.
