Achilles Formula Drift Asia 2013 is Back in Malaysia this Sunday, Sept 1st!

The Achilles Formula Drift Asia is back for 2013, and the purpose-built SpeedCity KL will once again be engulfed by clouds of tire smoke this Sunday, September 1st 2013. With only one week to go, the fans of the famous drift championship will be in for a treat this year as they introduce an impressive driver line up and a whole new drift category for your entertainment.

First up, the Malaysian leg of the Achilles Formula Drift Asia 2013 will introduce an all-new, night Team Drift category where the drivers will break team boundaries and pair up with partners of their choice in a special synchronized tandem drift challenge. So maybe you could take this as SpeedCity’s weekly Saturday Night Drift, but with more oomph as these are world-class drifters showing how it is done!

And talking about world-class drifters, the driver line up for this coming round is nothing short of being impressive. Other than our own Tengku Djan Ley showing how it is done, he is joined by other top guns like Ken Gushi from USA, Masao Suenaga from Japan, Rob Whyte from Australia, and Fredric Aasbo from Norway.

Feeling pumped? Then make sure you get yourself down to SpeedCity KL this weekend for the best drifting action that you can get in this region. You can get your tickets either from www.ticketpro.com.my or from the venue itself. See you this Sunday!
