Volvo Trucks has just made a short viral video that featured the use of their new Volvo FH trucks. But unlike most other promotional footage, it happened to involve a world champion slackliner – Faith Dickey who literally crossed the line between 2 speeding Volvo trucks.
So what if the trucks are moving you say? Well to make matters a little more hair-raising, the trucks are about to enter a tunnel, meaning Faith will need to cross over completely or face a whole world of pain or worse yet – certain death.
The death-defying stunt was filmed on an unopened highway in Vrgorac, Croatia with Academy Award nominee, Henry Alex Rubin, overseeing the making of clip and Hollywood stunt director, Peter Pedrero who helped create stunt-action movie footages that can be found in movies such as James Bond, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as Alan Jones (precision stunt driver).
The main purpose of the clip was to showcase the precise handling of the new Volvo FH (Forward Control High cab) trucks that’s being manufactured in Sweden’s probably the FH16, which is a 16L inline-6 direct injection diesel (D16) engine that’s capable of 750bhp, making it one of the most powerful production truck available today.
