Ken Block’s Gymkhana Clip Receives a Parody Makeover

Parodies had made plenty of laughs by bringing up a much funnier version of an original song/movie/clip that was intended otherwise. The classic aerial dogfight movie Top Gun fell victim to the Charlie Sheen-starring “Hot Shots!”, and the famous American slasher film Scream had Scary Movie turning the shrieks of terror into a massive amount of laughter. But it seems like the parody makers are now turning their attention to the octane-filled auto videos as the one that has recently received the parody makeover is one of Ken Block’s gymkhana clips.

Starring Etienne Guerra and a 1986 Ford Fiesta Ghia that probably has an output of only 56whp, this short video produced by Leaking Duck Production really had the minor details sorted out; the Monster racing livery on the car and the driver’s racing suit, the slow-mo sliding car footages, and even the fluorescent light-busting moves are included in this parody, seen originally in Ken’s Gymkhana Two.

And this parody is nothing close to any other as the moves pulled out by the driver in this underpowered, 26-year-old Ford are pretty impressive! All the slides and drifts were skillfully executed by Guerra, although they are nothing compared to the original stunt done by the massively-powered monster machines that allowed Ken to bust a set of tires in no time.

Nonetheless, this short parody does serve as a great form of entertainment to auto lovers and anyone who enjoys these types of clips. And to those who had yet to watch the original Gymkhana Two clip, please do so before watching this parody, or you might not fully understand the parody that Leaking Duck is trying to bring in.
