Message: <blockquote data-quote="jedi" data-source="post: 80569" data-attributes="member: 1336"><p>dear all,</p><p></p><p>if we apply Streamyx recently, we will get a ZTE modem instead of Aztech 900 Turbo.</p><p></p><p>My question is, is this Blue colour ZTE modem a modem or a router?</p><p></p><p>what I am trying to do is , I have a DLink 714P+ ADSL router, so I wanna plug in this ZTE modem into this 714P router.</p><p>But if I connect the WAN port on the 714P+ with this ZTE modem, I can't even ping the IP of the modem!!</p><p>I tried using normal cable and crossover cable, both also cannot ping</p><p></p><p>So I plug in this ZTE modem to normal CAT5 UTP port (not the WAN port) using normal CAT5 cable, it works fine and I am able to ping this modem.</p><p></p><p>May I know how to make this blue modem with with a ADSL broadband router?</p><p></p><p>Thank you in advance & best regards</p></blockquote><p></p>
