this oil cooler is for engine oil, it cools down ur engine oil, thus, your engine oil last longer when degrade by heat is slower. you can fully enjoy ur engine oil until it's service interval.

yes it can be sold seperately. but why you need it if you not using it with engine oil cooler? might as well get a full set?
