Listening impression:
Black Eye Peas (The END) “meet me halfway” – separation of instruments and speed makes my feet tap to the music. the Orion power sure gives plenty of dynamics to juice the Morel speaker drivers, making it very enjoyable to listen, as bass is full and snappy. JL subwoofer seriously rocks with authority.
Stacey Kent (The boy next door) “the best is yet to come” - did not expect a system this price to be able to play this well but to our surprise, it handled it well and poised. not boomy or bright, just nice, good pace and very good air and space.
Diana Krall (Quiet Nights) “the boy from ipanema” – it goes ahhhh… the percussion, bass, drums is well reproduced without fatigue by the Morels. JL subwoofer does a wonderful job as it takes over the lower octaves cleanly without sounding lazy or boomy.
