Still, not acceptable to have rust coming out of body panels when the paint is in good condition. More like defect instead of wear and tear.

Mitsubishi did not use the glue adhesive method back then in your VR era. Speaking of old Mitsubishi related cars, my mechanic's old 8 Valve Magma Saga doesn't suffer from rust issue either. His car I think is a 1988 model.

Saga is not roof issue. Doors, Bonnet and Boot.....lol

His one doesn't have any on doors, bonnet and boot except for those scratched areas with paint peeled off.
