Wira Front WindScreen

Hi guys,

I would like to know, how much and where should I replace my shattered front windscreen for my Wira. My locat is PJ.

The quote I got from some shops for double layer glass, is around RM450 to RM600 inclusive of workmanship. Not sure as why the price difference is so big...

Anyone out there that can share their experience, or where to do it (in an experienced/reasonable shop)?

i do not recall wira came out with double layer glass. single layer for wira model. maybe the double layer is aftermarket model. but for double layer, the price looks tempting. i doubt it is that cheap! normally it will range from RM800 onwards. below that is cheap and worry could be fake. better check it out before purchasing.

if the glass from china, i won't be bothered to get it.

Actually, the mkt price for laminated (double layer) windscreen + labor (+ the windscreen rubber/sealant) is less than rm500.

Beware of some inexperience installer who may mistakenly damage the rubber along the roof top, then could be most costly, esp true for Aeroback.

I was told its getting cheaper than 90s because popularity of wira & lots of supplier from local & overseas mushrooming.

Satria in comparison is still more expensive, bcos less popular = less demand = less supply = high price
