please note that the fuse on the power cable has nothing to do with amplifier protection (that is the job of the amp on-board fuse).

The fuse on the power cable is mainly to avoid fire in the car should the insulation is damaged and it pulled so much current that it can burn the car. As a rule of thumb, use fuse that is slightly more than your amplifiers total current draw. If you do not have the information then make it slightly above the total sum of fuses on the amps.
