Water Injection

Hei ceffy bros, anyone heard of water injection systems ? My mechanic offered to fix it to my ceffy for RM1,500-00. The system consist of one big water bottle/tank, a circuit box , small water hoses and valves to be inserted to the manifold. He claimed that this device will save fuel give better pick up power. I am bit skeptical
paying rm1500-00 just for the few simple items which i don't know whether it works or not. He also said that a few airport limo (cefiro A33) have already installed this item with no problem watsoever.

U CAN MAKE it urself with less money.this is hydro-fuel that makes HHO or jes plain water inserted to the manifold.
owh btw,they need pump and injector if wanna spray water+methanol inside the manifold,this will give extra boost.

if jes pour plain/batt water inside d manifold,it jes wont work because the oxygen sensor will detect too much oxygen thus this will increase the a/f ratio to rich.
m workin on it w/o the circuit box,manual version.but i dont think so if it will works on injection type of engine.

Hmmm, don't like to mess around with o2 sensor or any other electronics .Btw why mix methanol? Is it a catalyst of some sort?
