Saw this movie, "Togue 200 class" where Keiichi Tsuchiya drift car - AE86 versus Spirit MR-S

then saw this Motore AE86 Levin...with 20V BT engine...
here are the specs...

Engine : 180ps
Cams : Intake 272, exhaust 288
Pistons : 0.5mm overbore
ECU : Freedom ECU x2 (twin injectors)
Headers : Full Original
Exhaust : Full Original
Final Drive : 4.5
LSD : TRD
Dampers : Race Spec, F - AE92 short, R - AE86 short
Brakes : F - MZ20 , R - Stock

The questions are :

Q01 -> Cams : Intake 272, exhaust 288...are they the same with 20V SVT engine ?

Q02 -> ECU : Freedom ECU x2 (twin injectors)...why 2 ECUs...Japan ppl kaya oledy aaa, put 2 ECUs :D

Q03 -> Final Drive : 4.5...what's the 20V SVT stock final drive...how to mod it? what effects ?

Q04 -> Dampers : Race Spec, F - AE92 short, R - AE86 short...why they use shorter one...?


Heee...sorry toomany question...just wanna gain knowledge from the Sifoossss...

2. May be two ECU calculate thing faster? hahaha...
4. i think it means short stroke.
 
Q2=1 Freedom ecu only.......maybe thats the version...

Q3=yeah sure can....blardy expensive n u will lost top speed.

Q4=short=short stroke........do a reading or search in the net about this.!!
 
Q2 , it really show Freedom ECU x2...then why twin injectors...got onather version of Wbber aaaa...:D

Q01 -> Both Blacktop and Silvertop shares the same Cams Design, just the profiles are a bit dfferent.

Q02 -> Freedom ECUs are cheap in Japan itself.

Q03 -> Stock Final Drive for C56 and C52 is 4.3

Q04 -> Short Stroke Dampers offers less rolling factor compared to normal stroke.
 
final drive shiok....... trd final drive is 4.733..... ori 4.312....... very big difference.... but too expensive thats why i go for 6sp...... if i got the budget.... go final drive.... u don't lost top speed really.....4.312 top speed is 260 at 7k rpm.....4.733 top speed at 210-220 at 7k rpm

normally all the car got speed cut at 190kmh so make no diff......diff is rpm is higher than normal and u will feel petrol consumption higher abit.... but all kaki lumba dun care about petrol consumption..... only uncle do that

Question 2:

It uses 2 ECU mainly because is want to run 2 bank of 4 injectors which totally of 8 injectors. 2 injector/ cylinder. Running 2 ECU can run both injector in different map. Maybe 2nd bank is running peak and hold injector or something.

There is a few 3 rotor 20B running with 3 ecu to make things easier then trim the settings accordingly.
