if you mean CENTRIFUGAL type supercharger,i think its Benjamin (adaptronic seller) done that before..

i think it's the same as kompressor system used in mercedes benz rather than centrifugal type... let's thread starter verify

yup, like benz compressor type. I didnt know Benjamin did the centrifugal type before

I have done setup for autorotor 0.7litre twinscrew, Raptor supercharger and ASA centrifugal supercharger for 4agze.

Mercedes Benz is using root supercharger, MP45, MP60.

I would say autorotor twin screw, Raptor centrifugal powerband is from 5000 rpm onwards.

My next project will be twinscrew on my SC400.

autorotor twin screw, Raptor centrifugal... easy to obtain and mod into 4agze
im currently using sc14 and its going to KO-ed soon. getting clucking noise from it after i went to dyno last week. maybe the dyno run is making it like that now. my boost is now only at 0.7 compared to 1.4 on top intercooler.

i think you over rev the supercharger. SC 14 max supercharger speed is 10,000.

How HP are u making on the dyno machine? Which dyno machine did you use?

fuel pump wasnt in good condition, cut at 7500rpm. using dyno jet aka happy dyno.

im only making 160whp at 0.7 bar

I thought supercharger rev cut is at 7600rpm. Any other modification to the engine? Like piggyback or stand alone ecu or cams.

smoked b16a with b18c block vtec today and realised it was knocking at 6k rpm. i think due to the stock fuel pump i have changed.

can the blue e-manage remove yr rev cut ? I thought only the Ultimate can do that.

I'm very keen to add in a centrifugal charger to my 3S engine coz there's no space for the roots type. You run a workshop ? My current compression is 11:1 / 11.5:1 (can't remember), can I still force induce it ? I'm actually only interested in improving the low revs.

yes, only ultimate can remove. my stock ecu already cut at 8500rpm.

You will need to change the supercharger and you running quite alot of mods into ur car. I remember we did with raptor sc, we did 170whp on dyno dynamic with 0.8 bar of boost, just tuning with safc 5 button.

I got friends running 211whp with merz MP45 supercharger on a dyno dynamic with microtech. 1 bar boost 7age. with cams.

Like i say i will be doing twin screw on my 1uzfe soarer.

3sge can install twinscrew or roots without a problem, you will need engine management to control ignition. Centrifugal is too laggy for small engines unless you are going for ASA or Rotrex and they are hyper expensive.

what do u suggest i change to? or i just go turbo? where to get a raptor sc? do u have pics of diff sc on 4agze?

Raptor sc is just too big for small engines, i m a distributor for them. I end selling those raptor to BMW kaki. 2.5 litre and above.

sry i lost pic of raptor s/c into 4agze.

i just ove the 2 engines setup. what hp do they make? and what are those setups on the 4agze? any way to get one of these?

ASA supercharger is very expensive, i done 2 kits for customer in Barbados. I m not sure what hp they make, but they do make a quite abit of boost.

You can play with good supercharger if you got the $$$. Suitable supercharger alone will cost anywhere from 8-15k. At the end of the day, with installation tuning alone will be roughly 20k-30k all added up together.

Turbo will be a good alternative due to cost. Done 4agte with TO4E turbo, doing 255whp on dyno dynamic with 1 bar of boost. Got custom made cams and Adaptronic ecu, 2way lsd c150 from 2efte. Rev cut at 9,500. The engine is set to run at 1.5 bar boost, but when dyno time the intercooler piping was leaking, so was only able to do 1 bar boost at that time. Tune to run on petronas ron 95.
