turbo/ vtec in mini...

dudes just wondering if any of u have any idea if its possible to fit a turbo or a v-tec engine in a mini...is it possible?? what would b the best engine to fit besides the metro 1.3 turbo

Turbo.. I've seen before.. and are you talking the new mini or old one? The new one Minicooper S.. I think that's turbo charged..

As for VTEC.. come on man.. got $$$ can friggin do anything. 'Course.. it won't be a mini anymore la. Mini-honda.. heh

There are 3 classic mini with vtec taking part in the classic car race at sepang.
come this 31st.to sepang and you will see at least 2mini vtecs .

Currently there are 2 - 3 company in UK modifying original mini subframe to take in vtecs engine.
If this frame is mounted in the short nose mini than 80mm extension is required.
If this frame is mounted in a clubman mini than there no need to modify the front.
In 2002 this frame comes complete with shock absorbers, disc, steering rack,drive shafts etc.... without the car and engine at UK pound 1300.00
