Basically stay away from those gel based air freshners. They won't last the claimed 30-60 days. Because they can only test it in a air cond environment. But in room temperature in malaysia generally is considered hot. So the gel wear out fast.

Those electric-liquid diffusers works better. And can last 30 days if set at low.

netmatrix,
erm... true also. I use the glade clip-on fresh. last 3 weeks, then my fart can cover the smell already. haha

PS: The CD-R is stored on my office desk, NOT under extreme condition like direct exposure under the hot sun for long hour and etc.

sakura DVD+R? I dunno.
But it give me either 100% burn failed rate

or

Burn successfully but the DVD will not able to be opened at other DVD-ROM (This is worst, because sometime I deleted the burned file and found that files cannot be recovered).

PS: only find out these after I turn on the "verification check" (which failed all the time)

BlackSamurai... and perhaps to all the other people as well.
I don't have a dvd burner. Only a CD re-writer. To me, no doubt DVD has been in the market for quite a long time, I still don't trust ALL dvd burners out there, be it high end or not. Somehow, DVD writeable or re-writeable discs are not worth it and I just don't trust it's capabilities. I think it's about RM3-4 per blank DVD-R. I don't know how much is DVD-rw. To me, I'd rather just stick to cd-r. I don't even bother using cd-rw. Somehow, windows xp have problems reading cd-rw. Since cd-r are cheap especially the 100 packs which may go for rm30+ (I think), might as well just use that. A wasted dvd-r would cost about rm3 or at least, RM2. With RM2, you could get a few cd-r already. Might as well just waste the cd-r at about rm0.30 each.

2 burners (1 internal & 1 external) I tested, have no problem with other DVD+R , DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW) brand, except the DVD+R above, which failed in both DVD burners.
