here is some feedback after install the adjustable cam pulley. Retard 5 degree for each side and start engine straight away head back to office since I'm utilise lunch hour to install it. Damn, forget to advance the ignition timing at distributor, damn slugish because ignition timing is damn low (exhaust cam degree changes will effect ignition timing). So, can't really feel the power. 7.30pm 1st Aug, 2007, drive back from office with damn sluggish engine. After I reach home, straight away advance back to the proper ignition timing. Power is there but still can be enhanced. So I charge my laptop battery, plug to Freedom ecu and load my optimised map that I used on 4AGE 16V. Damn ignition timing is too high and run abit lean. Power of coz much better compared to the previous one. Drive a few rounds and do manual datalog. After I reach home again, alter the ignition map on the low end to avoid pigging and reduce ignition timing from 5000 - 8000RPM and increase total fuel increament by 5% from previous MAP. Lazy to test it, so that all for yesterday. This morning, I woke up at 7am, bath and decide to drive my TE to office, fire it up and warm up for a while. start to whach it to 6K RPM only because I'm still run in that engine (almost end of running in period but haven't change fresh oil yet). WooooHooooo...can fee great power instantly (power mean torque) 1K -6K RPM torque is impressive but anyway still need further tuning with wide band sensor because so far I also donno what AFR that I'm running now. That is the reason why I never whack to the limit yet.
