Need Help & advise from someone familiar .
I want to upgrade my Eg8 JDM D15b Vtec auto to B16A VTEC Manual.
Any advise what type engine from half cut suitable , Eg6 or Eg 9 ???
How about engine mounting ,which part i should adjust ?
And which half cut suitable and mostly part are same and can be use to my EG8 platform.
Izit Eg 6 or Eg 9 ????

EG9 halfcut is the most suitable for ur car as it's also a 4 door model juz like
ur car but it also shouldn't be a problem if u want to use EG6 halfcut..
As for the mounting the gearbox mounting u have to adjust a bit bcoz u want to change
from auto to manual but it is easy to do it as long u hav a good mech...
Juz my 2cents...
 
actually both are the same if u only want the engine/gearbox/wiring. cuz the stuff which u (4 doors) cant use are probably the door panels, rear speaker board, rear seats... thats as far as i can think. other than that, dashboard, gear console, armrest, all u still can use.

so either 1 doesnt matter, but if u ask me, eg9 parts such as dashboard, gear console all can be sold easier than eg6, if u are not using them.
