Hi guys,
Need your advice, opinion and recommendation for a Wira 1.6.
Plan to change the suspension setup and TB.

Prefer comfortable setup on the suspension. Currently don't know running on what abs and spring. But, it is lowered. Rim is 16". Which suspension and spring setup can provide the best comfort? If, in future wanna change to 17" wheels, will the suspension still be comfortable?

TB, if want to change, get the stock one or get from other cars? Please advise as I'm a noob in this area.

if wanna comfort as family car, better use gas absober wit sport spring, but if u wanna best ride, adjustable is better, many brand avail now wit price below 1.5k per set, wat u mean by suspension comfortable if using 17"??

perdana 2.0 single cam TB should be nice..

agreed as what m@tt has mentioned... sport spring + abs = comfort drive... more aggressive drive, go for adjustable.

personal experience found eibach pro-kit spring + APM Performax absorber can give you comfort and sporty look... that was on 15" wheel last time... currently on local brand adjustable and 17" for more aggressive cornering... 17" on softer suspension just doesn't feel right for me... so it is subjected to your preference and driving style.

heard perdana sohc TB is good for 1.6M and I'm looking for one too.

cheers

try the local one such as apm, gab, rg, etc. it also depend on ur setting, too lower or too higher will giv damn stiffer ride..

btw most adjustable was hard/stiff, designed to giv better handling for aggressive drive, for me it not suitable for family car, just my2cent..

So, adjustable is not a good choice for a family car? If the car already comes with lowering springs, any way to still mantain comfort by changing abs? Because the current abs died.

hi all..
would like to ask somethin..
my car use 1.6 abs n coil with 15"rims..
got gap about 4fingers..
i plan to lowered it by 2 fingers.planning to buy new 4pcs coil.
anybody can suggest or have experience before?
btw,i heard by changing coil, only rear height will decrease but front will be still the same..it is true?noobs here...
tq

not to say its not gud for family car but depends on u, if u always take along old people, better dont use adjustable la, surely they said "wah.. dis is car or lorry?? very hard la..." hahaha.. summore got heart attack when u hit hole or bump..

lowering spring will be nice wit gas absober, many brand outside there - local GAB, KYB, APM, GV, HIT, sapura leda, etc. but pls avoid monroe, my fren use it for only 1 year n it was kong kaw kaw.. btw i was on GV, stiffer from stock one but still comfort for my family n very nice ride..
