If you want to increase the speed of your browsing with Firefox, follow these simple directions:

Open Firefox.

Type "about:config" in the adress bar (no quotation marks).
Find these options, double click each one and change to below values:

network.http.max-connections: 48

network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6

network.http.pipelining: true

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 32

network.http.proxy.pipelining: true

Close Firefox and enjoy the faster browsing. :ph34r:

Actually you might want to check the settings every once in awhile because Firefox will (sometimes) automaticly reset the settings.

And some of you might not be getting improvements either because of the aforementioned reason, or you're using a slow computer.
