anyway i'm getting my half jap fren to translate the TREC page..
will update later..

wif my zero knowledge of the japaneses language, i think the device works exactly like the ECT button on altezza. i turn it on all the time anyway and the gear shift is further apart...for sportier drive..

so..now i'm not sure whether its the thing i'm looking for. the lag i'm trying to eliminate is that split second delay for things to happen once u press the pedal...

TREC changes the response curve of the e-throttle system,it opens the throttle slightly more ..

this kind of device is what i'm looking for...i believe its not the same as TREC..

The website does say that it removes the lag that all Altezza has during acceleration..and it applies to SXE10 .But the prices itself is around RM3.5K..that is a lot of money..hehehe.
It have the same principle of the TREC..probably for performance use..the reason for it's high price tag.
If you want to buy it..why don't you ask Trial to order from BEE*R and installed in yr car and make a comparison with the TREC system.
But that is gonna cost a lot of $$$
