i've encountered one skyline in bangsar carrying the NUR emblem..its a gold colour..if i'm not mistaken, NUR species carries more torque compared to the normal GTR. On my further studies, i found out there is also M Spec skyline and N1 Skyline out there. Other than power, is there any other difference between those breed?

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II / M-Spec Nür
Nissan released the final version of the Nissan Skyline R34 on 24 January 2002. This was the V-Spec II / M-Spec Nür This model is named after the famous track "Nurburgring" where the GTR's were develpped as a token of Nissan's gratitude and reverence to Nurburgring. The V-specII Nür/M-spec Nür has a N1-based Engine. This N1-based engine is the homorogation engine for the Super Endurance Race(Gr.N). The Super Endurance Race's regulation is very stricted for its modification, but the N1-based engine enabled to produce up to 330kW(450ps). This reliable engine provided 50 straight victory in the category. And this N1-based engine for Nür edition has a gold coloured head cover. It shows that this engine is very special. You can feel the difference between this special balanced engine and the other RB26DETT. This model is the limited edition of 1,000 and they were sold out at the day of press release.

The remarkable difference between the standard RB26DETT engine and this special engine is the material of the turbochargers. The Nür edition uses N1-based roller bearing metal turbochargers instead of the standard ceramic turbochargers.
This turbocharger provides remarkable performance at high revs compared with standard turbochargers. Further, Nür edition has N1-based reinforced engine block, N1 based reinforced piston and con-rods, N1-based piston rings, N1-based oil pump, N1-based water pump, N1-based exhaust manifold and N1-based reinforced intercooler rubber hose. Furthermore, this engine is hand made at the Nissan racing engine division(NISSAN KOHKI).

The Nür edition has not only an exclusive engine but also several exclusive equipment.
At first, the Nür edition has a 300km/h full-scaled speedos. Nissan used the same speedos during the test in Nurburgring. The exclusive emblem is given for Nür edition. The standard emblem is just sticker, but this Nür emblem is 3d cast. Further, the Nür edition has a gold coloured VIN plate instead of standard blue plate.

The M-spec Nür has several different equipment from V-spec II Nür. At first, the M-spec Nür has hand made leather interior instead of standard fabric interior. Especially for fron seat, the shape is similar to standard one, but the softness is totally different. This seat was also tuned for excellent combination with M-spec suspensions. The M-spec Nür has an exclusive confortable suspension called "ripple controlled suspension" and a softer stabilizer.

The Nur you saw would have been an M-Spec Nur. According to S.K.A.G.E.E, there are 3 M-Spec Nur's running around.

Geez..that means malaysians is one of the lucky one thousand. thanks for the statement that u gave me, just by reading the article makes my heartbeat faster. do some studies on skyline, notice that they also coming out with the NISMO version in celebrating their anniversary, man...i wish i could get one...DarkChild, do u own the Godzilla? how was it fair to Evos and Subarus?

The "NISMO version " you were talking about would be the Z-Tune. Do a search as this has been discussed a number of times already. :regular_smile:
