Hi guys ,

I've been always wondering, which one more worth ? shell green or vpower ?

I've bene using shell grenn all the while, and it cost rm1.92 per litre afaik . It could bring me up to rm50 270km right now.

If i use vpower, would it save more ?? My fren told me vpower is very powerful. but im afraid it make my car powerful but it eat petrol like there is no tomorrow :Not_Impressed:

if rm50 could get up to 250km, then i might consider goin to vpower !!!

right now im always driving short distance onli as my company is quite near my house. roughly 10km per day onli ... no more highway ><

Norns, the best way to find it out is to do your own testing. Different engine give different response to V-Power if I'm not mistaken.

Happy testing

norns..

what car u use? my proton se can bring me average 550km on full tank (travel long distance) on 15" wheels..em..im using petronas now, engine seems more quiet, smooth and go further..before is a loyal user of shell :p

well, i just would like to hear more xperiences for user who tried both hehe ...

using satria 1.3gli right now ;P

v power..hmm.. yes maybe a bit more power then a regular shell . but about going further..wont make much difference than regular if you re driving in city. for long distance, regular would do. i was using vpower when i have the 'mood' only..hehe..

with combination of best engine oil and air filter..the difference is clearer...

my opinion, vpower is not for daily use..use it when ur adrenaline goes up..hehe..

never test 2 car but done 2 motorcycle, feel d different a lot.. but once only la, if everyday bangkrup loo...

i tested V-power before....seems better but abit pricy for daily use...so i stick back to the Green petrol.....i mix rm20 caltex and rm50 shell....it gv me more mileage.....

happy testing....:retarded:

mix 20 caltex with 50 shell, haha. how much more you get, my wira can go for 280KM for 1.8 SOHC (auto). is it too low? Normally should got to how much?

Norns,
Have tried it on my car, 1 Tank of V-Power will be expensive than Shell Green but V-power will produce more km compare to Sheel Green provided u didnt ramp ur car too much (normal drive). Calculate at the end, it will be the same...
It is better u tried it once and u will feel the different..hehe(just like promoting shell V-power)...

Valueshop,
1 tank petrol with 280km for wira 1.8SOHC (auto), mine also the same...
At the end can not stand the FC, straight away change to manual and twin cam it...FC better than SOHC auto..currently 1 tank 350km to 400km...

thanks a lot brother, at least i don't feel like stupid keep on feeding this kind of car too much money, haha. last time more worst, at the end, got one friend recommend me to service (clean) the thotte body, at least can run 50-80km. good enough, cannot expect too much on this engine, got money better buy new car, haha.

thanks for reply and have a nice day.

To me, V-power racing not much difference on my Neo and i agree to what takuya-san said. use it only when you have the desire for speed. :)
