Shall we maintain stock tyre or change for new Altis?

Hi,

1) I'd like to ask sifu sifu around, shall one change the stock tyrer (current is 195/60) to 205/55 for a new Altis straight out of the show room? Or better change after 2 - 3 years when the life of the stock tyres are ending.

2) If recommended to change to 205/55 or any others spec, pls recommend one suitable for Altis 1.8G. Comfort & silence is the main factor, follow by performance. thanks...:regular_smile:

Honestly most mainstream cars are released with tyres that met or supasses the Manufacturers requirement, noise wet weather grip etc.

However if you enjoy a bit of "spirited" driving tyre upgrades are the way forward.
