I've notice in US now, Scion Tc seems to be most hot cakes now. its fitted with 2.4l VVTI engine which i suspect could be the same as Camry unit. It looks great on the styling regardless on exterior (maybe not on the rear) and also Interior.

here is some pics

Oh.... now thr is tons of turbo kits and supercharger kits even from TRD available for this Scion

"
The Stage one kit is designed behind the tried and tested Mitsubishi 16g. We found that this is a great turbo for the TC the 2.4l spools this turbo amazingly quick. Our stage one kit will boost to 9.8 pounds on an internal waste gate. The Stage 1 kit does come with a very large FMIC 24.5w 10.5t. 3.5deep.

This is a bit of an oversized core but we will be using the same core in all of our staged kits thus allowing you to upgrade without a lot of wasted cost. The stage one kit comes with a log style manifold all polished piping red or blue couplers, pre programmed e-manage with a jumper harness no wiring will be necessary. An auto meter boost gauge RC injectors, fuel pump, gauge cup, and again all of you vacuum line and misc. hardware. This kit will be good for 300hp on the TC. The kit comes with a 5 yr warranty"

Yes, it's a very nice car. I've seen plenty of them over here on the West Coast. It's getting very popular amongst the tuner heads. Looks great in person too. Yup, scion is to toyota what infinity is to nissan.

darkchild bro,

is the car very big itself? i mean the size of the car. with its able to fit in 2.4l engine, i think its shld be in some mid size sedan

Well, I would say it's abour the size of ummm...
Almost the size of an Evo?I don't know.... In my opinion, it's just nice. I mean, the cars over here are humongous. You know, Americans *laughs*
But alot of people seem to think it's big for a coupe. I mean... The skyline isn't small too rite... hahah

scion tc's use a 160hp camry engine 2.2L last i heard. a friend of mine has one, its an alright car looks good with kits but alas its still front wheel drive reminds me of the tiburon v6 or more or less known as scoupe hyundai here.

Wahahah... well said Blackchild. But its hard to put this Scion side by side to skyline to compare. IMHO, size like 350Z or Celica is just nice. R34 is still too big for me

yeah that's rite.

they use different names as marketing tools.

from their research, people wont buy USD 50,000 4.0 litre toyota becoz the same badge appears behind a USD 10,000 corolla hatchback. example only. thus, the different branding route when in japan they are actually same cars.

toyota luxury line = Lexus
honda luxury line = Acura
nissan luxury line = Infiniti

toyota and lexus equivalent model
Altezza = IS200/300
Aristo = GS300/430
Celsior = LS400/430
Land Cruiser Cygnus = LX470
Harrier = RX300
Camry Prominent = ES250

Nissan and infiniti equivalent model
Q30 = cefiro 3.0 V6

anyway, wat if IS300 have a coupe version? the 4drs already look damn nice.

IS300 body quite long la... not sure if it will look nice in coupe version... if make the car shorter wheelbase the will look nicer la... coz IS300 is long and skinny... not those long and fat...
