LB how do you erase the half of the plate so clean? (i.e. matching the background, etc.)
Particularly the CLK.. erased part perfectly matches the plate..

Adobe?

Edit: What's this trick called, find edge?

Good old Adobe Photoshop 6.0 ... Used mixture of stamp tool and copy-pasting of fragments of number plate around the number (reflection, black colour, etc) on top of the lettering. But in fact, you could just use stamp tool to do all the neat editing.

For CLK, it was even easier - just copied the grey part of the number plate next to the lettering, placed it on top of the letters, just leaving the number.

There's some basic info about stamp tool here: http://iit.bloomu.edu/vthc/Photoshop/enhancing/cloningstamp.htm

It's not really hard to use, just quite tedious. Have to edit it almost on pixel-by-pixel basis if you want it to look really good.

I'm planning to be at BSC Haagen Dasz tomorrow (Sat) around lunchtime for a couple of hours, to do some work and check out if anyone with nice cars come for lunch.. heh... in case anyone wants to pop by, have a coffee, learn Photoshop tricks, etc.

Erm... I think you've just broadcast to the whole world that that special colored 350z's number plate that it has Rm11k worth of ice...

The 360CS is a penang plated one right?

posted it last time...spotted it near phileo damansara last time....

In Sabah the roadtax sticker is bronze?
The Sabah plates in KL have blue (or purple, to some people's eyes).. I think they also have Peninsular Malaysia written above it.. need to go check again..

Even the average Sabah plates (eg. SAA1234Y) have the blue ones.. maybe because renewed in KL..

Edit: Antype, is the Gallardo still there now? I might as well go and have a look if I'm free today :)

BTW, I saw this damn nice DB9 few days ago, pearl silver, not Sports Package, I saw it at the offices in Dataran 32 in PJ area, couldn't see number plate but it looked like a KL plate.. number was not single digit.. like 2 or 3 digits.
