it's one of those cars i actually ran outta revs in 5th. With the stock gearbox too!
Vernon's shift light came on while we were in 5th!
mad.
we were bullying the continentals and whatnots on the road.

Shift Light comes up on 5th gear??! Cool.... I've never driven with such aggression before. What was the speedometer clocking that time? 220kmph?

To understand how the LSD kit works, perhaps you can start with understanding how your car differential works.

That solely depends on what you really want out of your car. If you want pure performance, then go for the MIVEC gearbox, even if you have the non-LSD version. The PZ one would of course be the budget version, effective but not up to a real LSD level.

Another option would be to source an aftermarket LSD like Kaaz to couple with your gearbox. Pricey, but nice :) Hope this helps!

FYI
The MIVEC gearbox is a close ratio one...so your top speed will be reduced somewhat.

Actually the MIVEC and Proton 1.8 gearbox have the same 1st-4th.

Only difference is the 4.592 Final Drive and the 0.756 5th Gear ( Proton's 4.322 and 0.777).

So it's not close ratio in the true sense.

You can try PROTON Edar...they should be able to order one for you...but mind you, its not cheap.

Sorry at the moment we do not have performance cams for the 4G91 engine and although it is possible to install the Stage 2 4G93 cams into your engine but the cam timming and duration will not match your engine. You'll actually loose performance.

Hie Amin,finally u joined this forum ya? haha!

Called you today but u nv pick up :( my car central locking system got problem,i've sent it to PESC near my area and they couldn't find a way to rectify it, they changed the relay and lock at driver seat but the prob stil ther. After that i bring it to my Radiostar installer they say got nothing to do with the radiostar,they say is the car electronic board got problem. Izzit better to get it done at Mutiara or directly go to motorsport? And bout the scratches on my car panel i mentioned to u b4,do u have any stock yet? I wanna replace it,i'll bear the cost if necessary. THX ^^

BTW, HEY LUDE!! now is my turn to face prob from central locking system =.=" hahahh!!!

about 138whps how is the fuel consumption ..
and did anyone install the stage 2 extractor..
did the sound change?
i mean when u revv high the exhaust sound still same
or any different?

Finally we would recommend that you leave the car for a day so that we can get the minor bugs sorted out before you get to rip your SR3 all the way to 7000rpm :)
