Sousoke. That cover is only on the display car.

Shaun, A bit hard to determine without actually looking at it. The rear quarter trim from the B pillar all the way to the rear is a single piece and a hassle to remove. I think you are referring to the portion that covers the rear wheel arch.

Tyres? All Satria R3s ride on Advan Neova AD07 as standard.

shaunchen : carbon front bonnet is RM 2.5k? Fark...that is a wee but too expensive, unless it's the very tight, small carbon weave, but still, it's quite expensive to me..check some postings here in the For Sale forum, i think there's one guy selling CF bonnets for Protons less than 1k ( if he's the same guy doing the 35 million CF boats at Melaka, then I think the CF quality should be perfect ) IS the CF bonnet from R3 is 100% CF, including the underbonnet as well? Carbon bootlid is a very good idea, can lose around at least 5 kgs more..but quality - wise? Rubber linings, fitment gaps, fitment of glass etc?

prozac : possible for u to drop by my place sumtime, would like to see @ ogle the car up close and personal..perhaps a short test drive? :D

waiting list is up to 2 months? very long...

i really need to chat with my old man about this matter..if the car is as good as it is..then i cannot wait one, eh?

proton should have a really good service team for the SR3s..maybe they should setup Mutiara SC as Wilayah Persekutuan's SR3 main and only service centre? I do think that SR3 owners should be given priority, since the car is that limited etc..even minor niggles like power windows not functioning properly ( biasalah Proton.. :rolleyes: )

Correction time, regarding the Carbon Bonnet, the the product and pricing is yet to be finalised, but circa the price mentioned. The Bonnet on the SSO car is double twilled CF as such it is not gonna be Cheap. As Shaun says, if you wanna good stuff you hafta pay. I know some people are selling bonnets for less than 1.5 K but are they full CF? As for Quality once the R3 CF Wing is out I'll let you guys be the judge.

About the service center, Mutiara PE does have 2 R3-trained Techies. Just have to ensure they're assigned to your car.

To the owners your plight regarding the above matter has been brought to the Head of Edar's Service and if the techs aren't assigned to you do let me know and there'll be hell to pay. Alternatively specify you want Hairul to work on your car when at Mutiara. When he discovered Shaun's car had a leaking exhaust he called me directly and we had it replaced immmediately.

I think it has less to do with luck, more to do with other people's idiotism! Grrr... My car mandi bunga already, my mom made sure of that. Maybe I need to mandi bunga..wakakakak...
