Looks like u need to practice on ur threshold braking.. :P But hard to say, when ur so used to driving with ABS.. all u think about during an emergency is to stand on the brakes.. Bad habit to develope for track junkies.. remove ur ABS fuse!!!
ya, get rid of those electonic stuff

just a guess from your old sig. so how is it with the AYC out? running 2 way LSD behind now?

Torment..

Chill. Me too. Sorry if i was getting overexcited, but often I get shot at just because I work at Proton. As I always say, just over 1 year ago I was on the other side of the fence with you guys, and when provided the opprotunity to try and create more exciting products at Proton through R3, I took it, and given both the capabilities and limitations of working with a manufacturer I really am trying my best.

So as to your question: The Siemens ECu I cannot change. But we are developing bolt-on mods, calling them Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 etc to work with the std hardware. The Satria R3 is considered Stage 1, and we're coming out with other goodies for Stage 2 engine and chassis mods that will work with the Siemens ECU.

/adian
Ah...now it gets REALLY interesting. So the SIEMENS ECU IS actually tuneable then! Fark, I'm gonna be lining up at Mutiara on the 17th.

adian

satria SSo based on Satria, cant call wira and putra old model as well, satria is also old model already what? shud work on gen2 by now if wanna be competitive.

anyway, how come Proton being very nice one this time, giving Advan Neova on Avanti rims?

that's because we have ppl like Adian and Djan working their arses off to make this work!

else we'll all get the JRD crap (rims) again and again..

They pushed for many things to make this happen.
i'm proud they achieved these under their certain limitations that they have..

the reason for the Satria being chosen as the first?
it's the most logical.

Putra's not in production anymore (other than 'clearance stock') and who wants a 'sporty' Wira?
Satria has the GTi range, and that's the sporty hatchback :)
and most ppl take the GTi as more sportier than the Putra anyways.

so hence the R3 Satria :)

the R3 Gen2 & Gen2 GTi (i believe) is already in the pipeline, why not? t
they need to take these one careful, measured steps at a time.
Too rushed, and we'll have another cock-up and everyone'll blame ol'Proton again.

The objective of the R3 division is to gain back lost and new respect for Proton. Something that they themselves and us M'sians should be proud of.

Adian joined Proton with a goal, to change public preception of Proton to something more positive.

at least somebody(alot a whole bunch of them too!) is doing something about it! (compared to all talk and no show)

lets try and support them as well as we can guys :)

cheers :)

if they can match the land of the rising skirt (korea) in terms of quality and pricing (notice how their cars even after being taxed is still competitive?) i will be quite happy already
