question on Alpine HU

jz bought my alpine CDM-9821 cheapo H.U... n got few question 2 ask...

1) the h.u seem like ez 2 b hot... i feel it wil get hot n even hotter than my previous pioneer DEH-2550 h.u... izzit normal???

2) there wil b "sha... sha" sound when i turn it louder... izzit the power output not enuf??? coz i currently didnt use any amp 2 powered it... jz use the h.u output on a component set at front & a bazooka 6.5" woofer tube at rear...

how do u wire the HU to the bazooka sub? if via rca to an inbuilt amp inside the bazooka is ok, but if this bazooka is the non amplified type, that means u are bridging your HU power to run the sub, very soon the HU will koyak...

thankz bro!!! wil get an amp very soon... i might need a 4 channel rite??? since my bazooka is jz 6.5 inch... or i need a mono/2channel for bazooka onli???

I think it's advisable to remove the bazooka first as it might be overloading your HU's tiny weeny internal amp.

Well.. i'm not too sure what specs are your Bazooka, but would be advisable to get a 4-channel for your setup if you have the budget, front channels powering your front component, and then bridge the rear channels to power your Bazooka
