Potenza GIII

I'm using a pair of Potenza GIII on my fronts. The grip is alright, I guess. I only tried the grip once after I changed my front abs and springs. Tried a bit of spin around the sunway "industrial" area, where all the car workshops are. Quite good grip. Grip on wet? Didn't try because my rear tyres ain't good anymore.
Got it at Kota Kemuning in Klang for RM178 per piece, 195/50/R15.

One advice to anyone who wants to change tyres in Klang.
If you DO NOT know the people who sells the tyres, just change the tyres there and that's it. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT let the mechs there drive your car for a test run after they put the wheels back on your car. I'm sorry to say but majority of malaysian workshops has earned themselves of being fucking vehicle abusers when it comes to testing customer's cars. So just get the tyres changed, have it installed, and do the alignment / balancing / etc. at your friends place. If not, find a friend who knows someone who does alignment / balancing / etc.
Satria 95...
i guess u r correct never ever give them to test our car...
If the mech insist.. then follow him while he is testing

satria95,
can u let us know where did u got your tyres fix at kota kemuning? i mean how to go and nearby where, detailed explanation if you don't mine please. was quoted something like RM210 for G3 and also ES100 for 195/50/15. the 205/45/16 was retailing at amost RM280 to RM300 from various shops. ended up staying put with my stock 14" with 185/60/14 ES100 for RM165 per piece and all the while i thought i had a good deal.

najibkl,
where did u also got this price? sounds like a good deal.

I’m currently using Potenza. Not satisfied loh… Which should I seek for?
my recommendation-
TOYO TRAMIO! 195/50/15 (correct me if i'm wrong- already blurrr).. less than RM200..peformance- good.. tyre is lighter than G3!..

TQ man...But what i know, toyo for 16 inches = RM 300.00, how come 15 = less than RM 200...Where where??

Prodigy,
I can't recall the direction there because my friend brought me there. Will have to check with him on the road directions. I only remembered driving a long straight road and passing some half cut shops (which I visited anyway on the way back haha) and the road has some grooves and holes here and there, though not much. Will check with him and let you know again.
RM210 for G3 is rather pricey. If you're changing all four sides, you'd seriously save a lot if go to Klang. I'm planning to change my rear tyres soon. If you want, I can let you know exactly when I'm going and then we can go together. Meanwhile, I'll get the directions for you from my friend.

mandatory88,
The place I went to quoted one of the Toyo tyres for RM198. Forgot which model but the grooves in the middle of the tyres are darn deep! hehe It's like cleavages from a pair of big boobs squeezed together. haha

How bout Dunlop Direzza DZ101's in 15? Anyone know how much they cost? Especially in Klang. I'm thinking to get a set for some serious abusing.
