Do Vtec really need oil cooler??
If install oil cooler Will the oil press drop a lot???

some ppl told me tat it's not need in a b16a engine unless u r going turbo or racing in the track....

if u install a normal or custom oil cooler, the oil pressure will drop.

only HKS cooler for Vtec and earl's oil cooler for vtec can install to vtec engine without any oil pressure drop.

if using oil cooler than pressure drop then must add more engine oil than usual?..

i dun think so because is the pressure not the oil level

i think this is because the adaptor has a termostat to maintain oil pressure

then when the termostat open sure the oil pressure drop right??
correct me if i;m wrong

i think pressure will not drop as the thermostat valve will only open when the oil has come to a certain temp where it has to cool down..so the oil will flow to the oil cooler..and back to the engine..then the thermostat will close valve as the oil has been cool..just my 2 cent..correct me if i'm wrong
