These cars carry these plates during "normal" times, and in escorts and stuff, use the yellow-with-a-badge plate.

I've seen it before.
A Mercedes R500, plate CAA1, but it was about to get escorted, so the driver took the plate off, and put a plate, grey one, with writing TM in the middle.
So that's Tengku Mahkota. But doesn't mention from where.

Because Alphards mostly belong to some medium-sized and big companies (coz they're so practical and comfortable, bla bla bla) and they usually buy good number plates for prestige.

I saw ACH10 on white Alphard some time ago... already on silver? :-/ ... What's so nice about this plate number that it changes cars so often?

Oh and by the way, I, and maybe some of us, are not sure that that's the RM200k plate, because JPJ didn't state exactly what plate did the RM200k bid went for.
Yes TAN 1 is likely the one, but who knows - can be TAN 8.

I saw TAN 7888 one the same day I saw the TAN 1.
It was on? An Alphard. LOL. How unsurprising.

Some time ago I've seen somewhere, number plates TAN 888 and TAN 8888 were being sold. Wonder how much those went for.


Before there was TAN, there was JJJ (which is one of my favorite plate series) and before that, I think the expensive one was WKL.
WKL can stand for Wilayah Kuala Lumpur and there was a six-digit money bid, if I'm not mistaken.

So I have yet to see WKL 1.
But that day I saw WKL 8.

Alphard? I know WKL 911 is on a dark blue Porsche 911 Targa.

I wonder if JPJ managed to get big buck for AAA and BBB series... Don't think people were ready to pay hundreds of thousands for plate numbers those days. WWW is surely gonna be a bomb. CCC series are coming very soon too.
