since u have rm10k to spare, keep rm5k for the engine & another rm5k for your gearbox just incase it dies.
for manual tranny on v6, u could opt for code 232(shorter ratio, clutch plate is 8.5") or 312(longer ratio, suitable for v6tt clutch plate is 9")
make sure its complete
1.gearbox
2.gear lever complete with cable
3.3 pedals, or 2 pedals enough (brake & clutch), some shops only provide the clutch pedal only, then u gotta cut your brake rubber pedal.
4.upper & lower clutch pump
5.clutch & flywheel

above could costs u rm4.5-5.5k

there are only minor upgrades for v6,
1.custom extractor - costs rm800-1k
2.crank pulley
3.cam pulley
4.aluminium radiator
You Guys are the KING of V6.. :top:
Thanks guys..
Btw the short ratio and longer, I assume short ration is better for a NA?
Cant wait to start the project.. hihi
Auto tranny can sell for how much? Mine done 200,000km, I assume superbly works well as I religiously do a gear oil change every 20k km..

yes, shorter ratio suitable for na, longer for turbo.
if use shorter ratio gbox on v6tt the 5th gear syncro will wear off.
auto tranny no value, maybe trade in rm500-600.

Bro isn't the 312 the shorter ratio gearbox and the 222 or 232 the longer ratio aka "gearbox termenung"? That's what I remember reading here.

Quite sure the 312 is short ratio, previously owned one and 100kmh, RPM i think was around 3500 or less on the 5th gear. If your gonna top spend a lot of money on your perdana, make sure you get a decent anti theft system on it, 220 was around 7000+
This picture is taken with the 312 GB
the ratio is similar to this vid

the best gearbox for v6tt is the 332 with LSD, that is from mivec v6 engine, not so sure whether is it from FTO or not.
but if yes is able to fit then its worth it.

but take note that 332 gbox with LSD is very expensive, last time can costs over Rm6k for the whole manual set.

if I fit the LSD.. like those available at Powerzone? is it worth it? rather the buying it as 1..
The digital air con control, such as the eternal.. is it a plug n play or have to change a lot of stuff?

Would like to know this too. Have heard many different advice from different foreman. Some say you can't control the temperature unless you change the engine together with whole half cut.

I'm puzzled. aircond is supposedly controlled via the aircond control panel, it has nothing to do with the engine or the ecu.

To the V6 kings....

What's the price range for a Manual Tranny? 312?
What should like look out for when getting a manual tranny?

Any reliable workshop in kl that deals with fixing manual tranny? or better cari at potong kereta...
