Its more on ur own preferance, if u like it sure u can. But if u plan to buy 2 compset 1 for front n the other for rear, imho i would prefer to used all the money for 2 compset to buy a better decent compset for front. :D
ic ... cuz currently using soundstream for front .... but imho ? nv heard of .... is it for spl or sq ? sorry bro ... i'm a total newbie ... know nothing much bout ice ... keke
What Yobha was saying is use the money u spent on buying front and back comp sets to buy a good one for the front alone. Personally I'd sell the Sound stream and get a DLS or Peerless or CL61 (I think that's the model) or Scanspeak (hehehe) for the front. Then pump it with a good 100watt amp (TRU, Alpine, Brax, Helix, etc) and just live with front comps. Cuz if u have good front comps, you can make it "fill" the rear as well. Screw back speakers.
Go to the IASCA TT today (Friday 24/6) at Tmn Desa and listen to seefu viper poison PISCES car.. then you will understand what I mean. Or even Louis or whoever there. Almost if not all seefu's don't use back speakers and those who do.. are VERY VERY high end setups.
