ps: If possible, hear out an Orange Component set first, and then swap with lanzar on the same setup to decide which better suits you. It's unfair to conclude that Mohawk Orange is just for SPL while Lanzar for SQ.

Cheers

I've decided to install soundstream XSC.6.

Will do it once i have the time.. some where this week.. eh eh

yong, er...i guess so. cos the brochure states the figures. i just copy and type nia. hehe.

but maybe cos the tweeters are 1", bigger than the Lanzar 0.5", that's y can handle lower. dunno.

cheers

erm....coz i think tats mid bass freq....tweeter playing at tat freq can bcome fried kuey tiaw

... from the mohawk tweets specs, the crossover point is at 4.5kHz with -12dB slope.. it can also play 2.45 kHz but its attenuated.. the passives will ensure that the tweets will not kaput ;)

i'm not against lanzar or condemning the products, but its a brand known for SPL in the US, its not asscociated with SQ at all.. also many users in US hentam the lanzar lower end range.. FYI only

thanx pjam for the technical explanation...i shud take this down for future reference. hehe.

cheers
