i don't think there is any LSD GB for auto. LSD for manual only i think at least for honda. correct me if i'm wrong

before this thread gets any longer, lsd are optional items from honda and it comes from your reconditioned jdm honda(kereta import terpakai, not your local malaysia version) either manual or auto transmission. it can be inside EF/EG/EK or DA/DB/DC. that means both hydraulic or cable versions.

all of those LSD are HELICAL type. more infos can be found if you do a web search on helical LSD on b-series engines gearbox.

lsd is there to limit slip... hence as the name suggest, so it can be fitted into manual or auto,

and honda equipped them to their engines coz the engine can produce so much power that u sometimes need it

nowadays for car's that is equipped with so much electronic, u have anti yaw, stability control n all to do about the same thing, but nothing beats the mechanical part of it...heh

my fren who worked in japan told me that in japan when ppl purchase cars, lsd is optional to them (same like how when we buy new cars, we would choose to have sport rims, tints, bodykits but of course they have much more options than we do ie sunroof etc).. they can choose to have or not have an lsd gearbox, depending on whether the model offers lsd in it's highest spec...
