Low offset rims

Will be changing the rims today and will post how it feels after the change. Before 17" i used 15" and the change felt very heavy to accelerate but better top speed and handling. Hoping to gain back that pickup.

What size in 17"?
Your 15" is 195/50R15, right?

Now currently running 205/40/17. Will be changing to 195/50/15.
I dont remember the exact specs of the old 15" but its 195.

Even though your width drop by 10mm only the overall diameter is smaller by 3.45% and that is a lot.
Pick up should be very much better.
Depending on what tyres used, your handling should not be much off.

If old tyre are 195/55R15 then diameter is the same as the 17" ones....

Hope the pickup will improve much better. Will let you know once i changed.
Thanks alot for the info!

So changed my rims today, from 17" to 15". The result?
Looks are gone, of course. The 17" looks way way better than the 15". I have to sacrifice looks.
But i can feel the pickup better and braking is improved.

Looks sure 15" cannot match 17". Yah, what tyres are you using for 15"?

not bad.... where u got the rims n tires? and that brembo is it ori or just cover?

I got them from Hup shun sunway. Nope its cover only, thought the whole setup would look better with it.
Havent installed the brembo yet.

hup shun sunway has achilles atr sport? how much per piece?

ur 1200 was with trade in or just straight buy?

Yeap, they got for 17" too. 1200 with trade in. Old rims got some little cracks and rear tires almost botak.

oh with trade in ..... u know the price of the 15" atr sports at hup shun?

Yeah, i like achilles atr sports. Cheap and reliable.
Been using them for over 2 years. Trusted tires!
