How did the name Liqui Moly come about?
A mineral from molybdenum disulphide - a dark grey crystalline mineral, improved the lubricating ability of engine oil and life span of the engine. Thereafter the patent for the production of molybdenum disulphide formed the basis of the company. This additive based on liquefied molybdenum (MoS2) was the companys first product and thus gave the company its name.

Liqui Moly started its Asia Pacifics business 6 years ago with their headquarters based in Singapore. They are rapidly expanding their operations to neighbouring countries and already have a steady presence in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar within a few years.
