Had the same dilemma in choosing which engine to plonk into my beloved kancil..... the most negative comments about L5 4cyl (JB-JL) series is that
Engine can't be trashed kaw kaw.. very manja
it's full of electronics....
spare parts not easily available...

I choose JB-JL after I met this guy at a forum tt that tuned his JB-JL up to 220bhp on 660cc block!

p/s: the only engine that would love to have but probably will not get even I got the $$$.... JC-DET, basically a JB-DET tuned by DRC!!!
