Hi guys,

This is a drag race Kseries for a really good customer in Kuching Malaysia.

Torq Project K27 drag build.wmv - YouTube

with limited tuning, we made 384whp on a dynojet on the 7th run. With more tuning, we could possibly come close to 400whp.

Looking forward to the new Dry Sump kit to be fitted and we'll break the 400whp barrier.

regards,
Torq Project team

These are the camshafts used.. bespoke specs available for race teams. :)

Wahh, supa nice! What CAD software you're using? What type of material you guys use for the ITB, aluminium?

I see.. Did you guys do flow analysis too? Any plan to market the throttle body later? Surely there will be market for it. I'm asking too many question already..

Yes we did flow tests on the head and throttle bodies. Exhaust ports are CFD designed. These throttle bodies are available for customers. I'm not sure if i can post anything for sale here, if you want them just PM me for details.

All throttle bodies are made to specific applications. Be it a k20 stock stroke, big bore engine looking at 11,000rpms or stroker motors, we have any combination for you. Throttle sizes from 45mm to 60mm, different tuned lengths, taper etc.

keith

superb...loving those twin rails...

Initial plan was to run 8 injectors for methanol. In the end, we used 4 x 2400cc injectors controlled by Vipec V88 Ecu and it worked like a charm. In future we might want to run outboard injectors to test the power advantage.

It is really very complicated jobs you have there. Bro, just to ask...is it possible to achieve more than 300hps on wheel or maybe 350hps with k24?
I am thinking of supercharge my k20 in future. See few k24 with massive power achievement before.
Which one is better ? Durable with power.

Still have to say, congrats for the achievement. Great job. NA super power.

HI bro,

I've done K24 with over 300whp on very mild camshafts and conservative compression. I think it is definitely possible with a properly built engine.

Stock 99mm stroke, 89mm bore size with ITB, 12.5CR with a good set of camshafts should get you 300whp on a dynojet.

What car are you using? Powersteering, alternator, aircon etc all saps power from the engine. Easily 10hp or more.

So if you're building a track car without all those, its easy to get over 300whp.

With a CNC ported head that flows well, slightly higher compression and more aggressive camshafts, i believe he K24 with 89m bore can make around 320 to 330whp.

And all these can be achieved with relatively good reliability too.

no wonder this car really fast....congrats to all of all of u bro:driver:
cannot wait for next drag in kuching.....

bro Torq, k24 with 12.5 comp and stock ITR cams can use our RON 95 petrol ah?
