Recently i bought a K&N filter from a local shop for my Iswara 1.3 carb... To my suprise, the upper cover wasnt engrave with the K&N logo. Instead, a
multi-valve wordings was on it...

But the mechanic showed me the element, there was a small chrome-like plate inside the element engraving the K&N logo...

I'm kinda confuse, am i being cheated?

If really it was a fake, i'm going to "sut" the fellow very very very badly....
hahaha
thx anyway...
:)

Original "K&N" word is molded in the rubber. I think you've been ripped off.

This is the Original K&N last time i used.

Is a sticker. B) I bought it from SpeedWork, it come with Box & Warranty Card. So, this won't be imitation K&N Products.

last time my kancil also use the same thing... i not sure it's sticker or what already... but the thing it will be there for long time... i use the thing more than 2 years... still there... but i also forgot bout it already.. ;)

theorekz, open the filter laaa. check the rubber between the filter wether it is written K&N or not. btw, i'm using the same as yours.

thx all for providing me the info...

i open up my filter today...
there was a "K & N" word on the rubber... but it is not a logo o.... it is a word only ...

can this prove the purity of my filter?
thanks forumers..!!!

Is your K&N like mine in the pic below? As per your description, I think the filter element is original but maybe the top cover not.

no ayell, my filter is shorter... the mechanic told me there's 2 type for iswara.. i bought the shorter edition 1.... i think urs is the other version which is more expensive...

urs also have the word K&N on the black rubber between the element?
some of the forumers told me tht is the way to check the purity of the filter...
