2012 marks the second year that JPM Motorsport has been accorded the honour of organising the race. The races, which will happen on the 9th and 10th of June at the Sepang International Circuit, will host more than 40 teams from both manufacturers and privateers alike!

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. JP Chin said, “It gives me great pleasure to see all of you here today. Time has indeed flew by since I last spoke to you about SUPER GT. JPM Motorsport was given the privilege of organising SUPER GT last year, and having learned many lessons from it, we are confident that SUPER GT 2012 Round 3 Malaysia would be an even bigger and more exciting event.”

The SUPER GT 2012 Round 3 Malaysia Press Conference, held at the glitzy Pavilion Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur, was called for by the organisers of the SUPER GT race, JPM Motorsport, and was attended by Y.B. Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. JP Chin, founder of JPM Motorsport, Mr. Masaaki Bandoh, the President of Japan GT Association, Tony Nagamaiah, General Manager International Events of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), as well as Dato’ Ahmad Razlan Razali, CEO of Sepang International Circuit

Currently SUPER GT has been and seems to always be one of the best spectator sports in the world. The passion surrounding this motorsport is palpable to all, and SUPER GT is proud to say that it has always been committed to remaining fan-friendly. Fans can meet the teams up close in person, and to keep the racing competitive for the fans, SUPER GT imposes ballast penalties to winners.

Not only that, SUPER GT has been going big on the 'Green' front, allowing a Toyota Prius to enter into contention for the GT300 category. From round 4 onwards, the Honda CRZ GT300 will also be joining in on the fray.

JPM Motorsport is looking to make this year's SUPER GT 2012 Round 3 Malaysia ‘Your Best Motorsport Experience Yet’. How you may ask?
