Can... cos ae114 is a 4wd drive corolla.... the ae111, 114 and 101 SPRINGS are interchangeable.... the ABSORBERS however, for ae114 is different from 111 and 101 cos 114 is shorter... 114 is a 4wd corolla.... it uses rear dif assembly similar to S13/ crv and impreza.

If u wanna make sure.... visit or check TRD catalogue.... Ae111 and 101 shares the same mechanical/ handling part numbers... most of em... even to the exhaust systems too....

But i won't recommend you to take wagon springs... cos it will be too plush, you will tend to understeer if u use wagon springs.... cos it have been designed for the extra rear weight... using it for a sedan can be considered not practical for cornerings.

thank you so much for the feedback. i saw the trd catalogue and its true that AE114 share the same spring as 101/111. currently the spring is very soft. do i need to fix a bumpstop? if the abs is not similar, wat car model i can use since it is shorter from 111 and 101? wat if i use 101 adjustable abs? if possible, this will truely help me reduce time searching for the parts.

Too soft? u are using lowering springs? bumpstop aren't helping anything... just prolonging your absorbers from bottoming too much....

The rear absorbers for ae114 is a bit hard to get. and i wont recommend you to install 111 or 101 cos it is not suitable at all... 114 is 5 inch shorther if i can remember

Alternatively... try to get a pair of koni drop ins for your rear abs.... it is a bit expensive but u only change it once.. the soft feeling can be controlled... it is adjustable firmness.

Or if u are not a modder.. just get the rear repaired... at rm150 per pcs. this step should be taken if u cant get a new ones cos new ones costs rm 200 below per pcs

Also, try to call your local spareparts dealer... ask them whther they can source you APM performax (sports) or Monroe sensatrac... i dunno how hard to get 114 parts.. but it is hard to see that car here :D...

You will spend a bit for the Konis but it is a worth investment.... the cartridge can be installed by most mechs...

if u want to go with custom... i can hook you up with few guy which can modify other car absorbers to suit yours... but better buy new ones...

If u get adjustables... maybe you will have to reweld/ reposition the mount... a bit higher, for ae101 111 sets that is. cos it is still to long for 114 model....

I don't know the phone number of the place... seems it changed cos they moved.. sorry... it is either

HOKOMOTO racing or Speedzone....

both shops are at Bt. caves selangor... if u want me to show the place... feel free to call me when you in selangor... 012 6371273... or sms me if unreachable cos a bit in non hp areas....

they are selling new items... maybe costs 1k~1.2k per pair...some of my friend bought it at 800 when there was offer... but it new and may lasts up to 100k kms or more if properly installed... (we are using usedparts that travelled up to 150k kms sometimes)

for me the spring plays role but i really look into absorbers too... if u tried a driving master type flex for ae101, they are very stock feeling at softest setting but when set to hard... it feels like using dead stick for absorbers!

belanja me nasi kandar la after that ehehehehe

Anybody know what is the finger gap between tyre & fender if i use 20V levin
front spring? Currently i'm using back my halfcut wagon front spring, it is too high for me.... around 4 finger gap. Thinking of having 2 1/2 to 3 finger gap front.

I'm using AE101 20v bt 6spd, rim 15"195 tyre 55. Now front absorber using half cut Tokico + wagon spring... 4 finger gap; rear AE111 Tokico + AE111 spring ( spring slightly harder then stock AE101).
