How Often Do You Service Your 350Z?

Hello All

I am hopefully getting a 350Z. Just looking for some advice on how often you service your 350Z, ie at intervals of how many km.

Also, when u service, what else do you do apart from oil, oilfilter and air filter, brake pads etc.

ya...i`m planing to buy one also...so how much is the yearly service cost? i means in term of the engine oil, transmission oil, timing belt...etc...etc..!!

erm....basically engine oil n other maintenance parts are not tat expensive.

engine oil = fully syn bout rm200 per bottle of 4litres.

oil filter = below rm100

brake pad = depends wat brands lo....bought one set bendix for brembo front n rear...less than rm600 if not mistaken. there are many brands to choose, depends which u prefer

u just need to worry FC n roadtax (rm4380 if not mistaken a year), if sabah sarawak is cheapers la

timing belt dun need change every time u service ur car one le.....so y worry this? th e price will nvr kill u if u afford to get the car.

roadtax is rm4360 or 4380 per year....insurance i forgot.....

service is few hundreds only everytime, normal one le.....

8-10k km lo...fully syn engine oil...

most of the car same one le...nothing special le....

freestyler, roadtax rm4400 , insurance rm5130 , processing 580 , r.no plate rm100 , puspakom rm200 ... <<< all the charges when you purchase ur Z ... actually me also looking for Z .. I hope any Z owners can help guide abit about the best deals and maybe invite us ( freestyler , jkay and me ) for your TT so we can check out ur rides ... hopefully Z club will have 3 more new members this year .. hehehe.

road tax is RM4371.
But mine have deduction. RM4171.
service depends on urself and what oil u will be using. For me using semi syn servicing every 4-5k km. if fully syn, like huakenny say maybe 7k-10k. not too sure bout it.
Havent change before timing belt yet will update u guy the price once i did my 1st change.

Z-Ice : "Mine's AT and gives me about 420 km for a full tank that is considering me revving up the car quite a bit"

Nicole_nic : the other day with full tank, there's still quarter tank left when we (me & hubby) arrived at pg.. mine is AT and full tank can give me about 400+km.

So i guess can summarize that full tank at least got 400km lorr .
80liters x rm2.70 = rm216 full tank. :hmmmm:

that sounds pretty good for a v6 engine... usually service every 5000Ks with any other performance cars really.. If its a new car, use full synthetic oil all the time.. Also depends what is the car for really, if its just a street/semi race car than its ok...
